Mariam Steinbecker
Mariam’s love for design started at an early age through drawing, modeling her “dream home” in Sims, and rearranging her mother’s furniture layouts in every home they moved into. She pursued Interior Design in college before accepting a role as a VDC Engineer in commercial construction, where she gained appreciation for the hard work required to bring a project to completion.
Today, Mariam is a valuable member of the Classic Homeworks team as a Residential Designer. She is passionate about making a positive impact in someone’s home and helping them see their home’s full potential while creating a space that is both beautiful and functional to their wants and needs.
Outside of work, Mariam loves staying active and being outdoors, and “friendly” competition in any form of tennis, from Pickleball to Ping-Pong to traditional tennis. She also enjoys cooking, especially Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisines. Her love for travel and talent for travel planning have taken her to many destinations around the world.
Mariam’s hidden talents include her ability to speak three languages – Swedish, Arabic, and English – as well as her talent for drawing and baking. She drew an architectural drawing of the Big Ben in 4th grade that she is very proud of, and a charcoal eraser drawing of the Eiffel Tower in high school that was submitted in an art show for display. She also bakes a mean cranberry orange bread.
With her passion for design and dedication to excellence, Mariam is an invaluable asset to the Classic Homeworks family.
