Curtis Park 1890 Victorian Reno
The homeowners of this 1890 Victorian in the heart of Denver wanted to preserve the character of their home while adding modern conveniences in the kitchen along with a designated space for their board game collection. The kitchen was previously accessed through a door in the dining room. That wall was opened up and the kitchen is now filled with light from a skylight and exterior windows. The white cabinetry, subway backsplash and quartz countertops are a neutral backdrop to the decorative mosaic tile behind the range and the grey porcelain herringbone floor tiles. The office was created by dividing the living room with salvaged doors from the original Union Station. Now, the board games have a place where they can be beautifully displayed and easily accessed. The homeowners received everything on their wish list and are thrilled with the results.
